After dominating the division as we all knew they would, our beloved team welcomed the Browns to NRG Stadium in a game that had the potential to be the only one with actual points, thanks to the extreme freeze or torrential rains this weekend. The Bulls fans were in fine form, tailgating like there's no tomorrow.
The excitement kicked off in the first quarter as our boys warmed up and found their rhythm, shaking off those inevitable playoff jitters. By the second quarter, they were asserting dominance and striding into halftime with a comfortable lead of 24-14. At this point, we were all merry, celebrating with our morning beers (hey, we're on the other side of the world!), dancing with the rest of the die-hard Texan fans. I mean, who can resist a little victory dance?
Refreshed after halftime, our boys came out riding the Browns, with incredible interceptions leading to touchdowns that stretched our lead even further. It was like watching the Browns desperately wishing they could fast forward through the remainder of the game – talk about a tough break!
A victorious playoff game couldn't have been more spectacular without the pocket rocket runs by Singletary, Nelson, and Harris. Touchdown makers Collins and Dalton Schultz, the force of Greenard and Anderson Jr., and points cleaned up by Ka’imi Fairbairn. Even with a minor injury picked up by Tunsil, a week of ice baths should have him back to his dominant self next week for the Divisional Round. And let's not forget the big dawg himself, Stroud, and honestly, all the boys coming together, making the Super Bowl run look like a walk in the park.
Shoutout to the incredible debut as head coach by DeMeco Ryans – an outstanding man bringing the Vince Lombardi home! This is just the beginning, folks.
